MP's to debate Brexit and vote (again)

Hi everyone,

The Pound starts the week strongest of the G10 currencies, as Traders ignore the potential no-deal scenario (for now).

MP's are due to debate in the House of Commons in about an hours time and will be voting once again around 8pm. The customs union and second referendum are due to be the two that build support, but the former could come with hefty resignations from her own party if chosen.

If MP's chose a majority, Theresa May will decide whether to terminate her deal or go against the will of Parliament. If there is once again no majority, the PM has until April 10th to decide whether to leave without a deal, attempt another extension or cancel Brexit.

By the looks of things, an extension is looking the likely winner at this stage which will strengthen the Pound. It's relatively quiet on the data-front this week so Brexit news will dominate how Sterling performs.
